Dog' n' Suds Sign

The Antique Warehouse lends a “helping hand” to David Benko, Curator and Founder, of the National Neon Sign Museum, Vancouver, Washington. This over sized porcelain enameled sign with neon and incandescent lighting came from an Iowa dealer that delivered it to our door. The second phase of the journey from the Midwest to the Northwest began in our restoration department as the remaining neon was removed and a crate was built by our volunteers.  A very heavy duty pallet was constructed and the sign was bolted to it.  Then a solid frame was built as an exoskeleton around the sign.  Lastly the sign was shipped via Forward Air to the Museum so it can be restored and eventually displayed.

Below are a few images of the sign and the crate that was built for the sign.
