Our collection of antique outboard motors consists of 4 different models. Two Caille's (pronounced Ka-il, rhyming with jail), an Evinrude and a Johnson. The motors are solidly constructed out of aluminum, brass and copper. All four of our motors are fully restored to their original beautiful shine. All of these motors would be used on small rowboats, making the job a bit easier. However, they had no more than two horse power so the boater was limited by how fast the motor would push them through the water. The Grey Caille motor had an adjustable propeller, where the pitch could be adjusted, allowing for different speeds. This motor would also reverse, but the boater would have to stop the motor and start it in the opposite direction.
