Our Restoration Department is currently restoring several neon signs; Pevely “Super Test” Ice Cream, Buster Brown Shoes and this Golden Gate Church of the Nazarene sign. The later, once illuminated the front of the Church located at 2838 Salena, St. Louis, Missouri in the Benton Park neighborhood. Manufactured by Southern Neon Sign Company this porcelain enameled sign hung within the front circular window. The sign was donated from Warehouse friend; Dave Endres of Kirkwood, Mo. We started with just three panels and built the can from scratch (a can is the structure that also conceals the transformer and wiring).  Visit often to see the completion of this spectacular sign.
