Parking Arrow SignRestoration

Our Restoration Department has been hard at work, restoring two different neon signs.  This sign pictured above is a flashing "parking" arrow sign.  The sign is double sided with porcelain faces, and features flashing neon.  As the restoration progresses, you will see that there are two different pieces of neon that light up, one will be on, while the other is off, and then they switch.  This gives the effect that the arrow is pointing.  Click below for an image gallery, explaining each step of the sign restoration.  The neon is just now being added, so be sure to check back soon for updates as the sign gets closer to completion.

The second sign is a Chapman's Ice Cream Sign.  It also features double sided porcelain faces with a rounded bull nose to complete the look.  Neon is also a dominant feature of this sign.  Below you can click on any of the images or the link to be taken to the image gallery, which will explain each of the steps involved in restoring the sign.   This sign is also nearing the stage where neon will be added.
