“It’s a Gas!”14^th Annual Petroliana Swap Meet

     On January 13th and 14th, 2006, the Antique Warehouse Acquisition Team traveled to the Boone County Fairgrounds in Columbia, Missouri, for the 14th Annual "It's a Gas" Petroliana Swap Meet.  Petroliana is antique gas station and automobile service collectibles including; gas pumps & globes, service station equipment, oil bottles & cans, road maps and signs.  Similar to the Chicagoland Show that our Acquisition team attends every year, the dealers arrive early Friday morning to set up their items on the parking lot.  Many of the serious buyers (paying $25 for advanced admission) show up early so they have the best chance at finding that perfect item for their collection.  The swap meet officially begins at 11 am when dealers set up inside the building.  For additional information on this show and future shows contact:  John Troxel (573) 896-8609or Mike Russell (573) 442-6759 or days (573) 592-1991.
