Allan Herschell 20 Horse Carousel

This is an Allan Herschell 20 Horse Carousel. With it's 19 foot diameter, it has 12 sections. Ten of these sections include 2 horses, and the other 2 sections have chariots. This carousel has been meticulously restored to better than new condition. Using two different 19 foot Allan Herschell Carousels our restoration team combined the best parts from these two to form one. The main components and skeletal structure of the carousel, including the center pole, the large gear that turns the carousel and all of the metal sweeps and there support braces are all restored original pieces. These parts were all sandblasted and then powder-coated to a beautiful glossy red. However, the outer rounding boards, the inner artwork and the floorboards are all completely new. These wooden parts on the two original carousels were completely rotted and could not have been saved. Using these old parts as templates our restoration team created brand new parts.
