Meet the MachinesRecent Event

     On Saturday April 26, 2008, Budrovich and Fabick CAT held their Fourth Annual, Meet the Machines event.  Being a beautiful Saturday, there was a huge turn out.  Many of the attendees took advantage of the Grants Farm shuttle service provided by Greg Rhomberg and the Antique Warehouse Grant's Farm Tram.  Since there was limited parking nearby, the tram provided guests a shorter walk to the event.

     Meet the Machines was designed to show kids ages 3-15, the heavy equipment side of construction business.  Children and adults had the opportunity to view and climb aboard many different types of heavy machinery, including giant excavation equipment and hoisting machinery. 

       The tram was just one  part of the wonderful event.  But it allowed adults and kids the chance to ride the once famous tram that provided tours through Grant's Farm in South St. Louis County.  Both kids and adults found it fun to ride the tram to the entrance and then back to their car after they had finished viewing everything at the show.  Many just rode the tram for the fun of it.
