The Museum of Transportation held a special event on Fathers Day this past month, Dads and Lads Day (really for the whole family). The special day included free admission to the park for everyone, and a special car show hosted by the Horseless Carriage Club. Greg Rhomberg helped add to the excitement by bringing his newly restored Cretors Style Popcorn Wagon, which was restored by volunteer restoration specialist, Calvin J. Weldele. Hot fresh popcorn and ice cold lemonade were on the menu and complimented each other quite well. All dads received a free popcorn with purchase. Greg's daughters Trudy and Gabbie helped sell the popcorn with Mark and Judy Hartman. Proceeds from the sale of these delicious treats were donated to the Museum of Transportation. Greg also brought along his 1930 Budweiser II Land Cruiser for the car show. All of this was in addition to the fun that could be had inside the actual park.
