Cherokee-LempHistory Fair

Visit the Cherokee-Lemp History Fair, Saturday and Sunday the 17th and 18th of May.  This annual event is held in the historic Lemp neighborhood, on what has become known as Antique Row.   Enjoy historical and architectural tours, ethnic foods, strolling musicians, exhibits of art and photographs featuring neighborhood scenes.  The event will be held on Cherokee Street, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 3p.m.

Local writer Steven J. DeBellis, author of 100 Years of Reel Entertainment, How Wehrenberg Theaters Became the Longest-Running Picture Show in America, will be signing copies of his wonderfully written book at O'Malley's Irish Pub.  Located at 1900 Cherokee Street at the corner of Lemp.

Last year Greg Rhomberg showed up with his Budweiser II.  While he doesn't have any plans on bringing anything special from the Antique Warehouse this year, the event is sure to be an enjoyable time.  Please visit www.cherokee-lemp.org for more information on this event.
