ChicagolandAntique Shows

     November 2008, Greg Rhomberg, Antique Warehouse curator traveled to St. Charles, Illinois, a suburb west of Chicago, for three unique antique shows. The first show, the Coin Operated Dealer's Show was held at the Kane County Fair grounds on Wednesday and Thursday, November 12th and 13th. The next stop was the Cash Register Collector's swap meet on Thursday afternoon at a near by motel parking lot. The Chicagoland Antique Advertising, Slot-Machine and Jukebox Show, held on Friday is where the finest items could be found. This show continues to be the largest and best show of its type in the world. A few images of the interesting and unusual items are displayed below:
