description: These barrel back chairs are from the 1950's era and are much larger than the older chairs in the AW collection. They have a very retro look to them and as they say "they don't make em' like they used too." These chairs were obviously designed with comfort in mind having a large plush seating area. Nearly the entire surface of the chair is covered in vinyl material with very little chrome. information: These four chairs were acquired in 1998 as a package from Waren's Barber Shop, in Mecham Park, Missouri, which was shutting down after 41 years of service. Along with these four (4) chairs, the Antique Warehouse acquired four (4) back bars, six (6) waiting chairs and a shoeshine stand. The Antique Warehouse currently has all of these items in storage, where they are waiting restoration. |
